Date Night Fun Making Cocktails With Empress Gin
Do you need a fun date night idea? Well, I got you! One of the silver linings of staying home is all the Friday date nights my husband and I have spent cooking dinner, listening to jazz, and enjoying Empress gin cocktails together. My husband and I love discovering new cocktails. We decided as part of our date night fun, that for several weeks on Friday night, we would make different cocktails using Empress Gin’s signature recipes. We also had fun creating our new recipes too. By the end of this time, not only did we have some fun memories, but had added several new cocktails to our favorite list!

Empress Gin A Botanical Inspired Qualities
When I found Empress 1908 gin, I was drawn to its rich flavor and its beautiful indigo color. The butterfly pea blossom in the gin imparts subtle earthy notes and all-natural indigo color. When you add citrus, like magic the gin transforms from vivid indigo to a delicate soft pink. A neat fact about Empress gin is that it is micro-distilled in small batch copper-pot stills using eight botanicals: juniper, rose coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, cinnamon bark, butterfly pea blossoms, and the Fairmont Empress Blend Tea.
You will enjoy including Empress Gin in your date night cocktail making fun! I’ve rounded up the recipe for the Windsor Garden Cocktail, the post on my Instagram account, and several of our other favorite Empress cocktails below. Enjoy and Cheers!
Our Favorite Empress Gin Cocktails
Lavender French 75
The French 75 cocktail, its typically a refreshing blend of champagne, gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup. Lavender was added to give it a “fresh from the garden” twist and using Empress gin added botanical notes. That’s how my version of the Lavender French 75 was born.
