Tip #1: Pick Seasonal Florals
This might seem like an obvious tip, but there is nothing like flowers specifically found only in the Spring to bring your table that feel of nature’s new blooming freshness. Showcase those, and combine them with flowers that are made up of tiny blooms, like the hyacinth, chamomile, and even hydrangeas. When they are coupled with flowers such as tulips or roses it just screams Spring.
I love using bright yellow flowers like daffodils and pastels like pink and purples when I pick my roses and tulips. Create a larger centerpiece with a combination of these flowers on your table. Another option is to lean into a bit of casualness, by making small arrangements with the flowers mentioned above and adding some wildflowers or greenery.

Tip #2: Add a Plate with a Nature-Inspired Pattern
There’s no easier way to say Spring than by using a plate with a nature-inspired pattern. Florals, birds, butterflies, bunnies, and even cabbage-shaped plates, give a nod to the season on your table. I particularly love using dessert/salad plates with a Spring theme on top of a more neutral plate.
Using a beautiful white plate and embellishing it with greenery, an embroidered napkin, pastel-colored ribbons or a small arrangement of flowers is another great way to add that extra layer to your table

Tip #3: Use Floral Linens
If you don’t do anything else, use floral linens, it’s another easy way of giving a nod to Spring. Adding a floral tablecloth is the equivalent of setting your table in a beautiful garden. It adds so much to your table visually and gives you a base to pull out different colors. Depending on the floral pattern on your linen it can even give you an idea of the floral arrangements that would compliment your table. Napkins in smaller floral prints can complement and add more depth and color to your table.

Tip #4: Use Green and White
Bright greens are all around us in nature and are such a nod to the season. I love using this color combination to easily create a sense of clean newness to my table. Pair the same shades of bright greens you find in nature on your table with crisp or creamy whites. You can stop here or continue to add the Spring feels by bringing in pastel colors with your linens or flowers.

Tip # 5: Add Layers of Texture
Last but not least, don’t underestimate the power of adding texture to give your table a nod to the season. Add texture to your table by adding items like woven plate chargers, placemats, flatware with woven handles, bamboo-shaped salt, and pepper shakers, and even glasses with woven sleeves. You can take this further by adding linens with embossed branch patterns or adding actual natural elements like branches and bird nests. It can also be added by using plates and platters, that have a basketweave or bamboo edge. The options are endless!
Hoping these tips and resources help you to celebrate the season with your own type of style!
