Natural elements paired with Pickard China Plates make for one beauty of a blue and white Christmas table setting. Surely, this table will inspire you to recreate your own stunning Christmas tablescapes in no time at all!
The style of Christmas evolves with the seasons of life, doesn’t it? When my kids were young, it was all about the glitz, glitter, and vibrant colors. Now, as I approach this season, I’m finally embracing the style I’ve longed for—leaning into a more natural, nod-to-Christmas approach.
Instead of the usual sparkle, I’m letting the beauty of natural elements shine. It’s a different way to capture the spirit of the season, and I’m thrilled to bring this new style to life in my home this year.
How to Set a Blue and White Christmas Tablescape Effortlessly
Simple elegance reigns. It’s all about building around one color, one metal, and incorporating a touch of natural elements when it comes to Christmas table decoration ideas.
Simplicity, when done right, is a timeless beauty.
I followed my own design advice by using shades of blues, white as a neutral color and gold as my metal of choice except for the silver vases I used in the middle of the table.
Combining silver and gold is always a winning combination and a simple way you can easily add extra layer of interest on your table.
The Key: One Color, One Metal, and One Neutral
Unlocking the secret to easy elegance: Choose one color, explore its various matte shades, pick a metal, and embrace a neutral.
This table, draped in beautiful shades of slate blue, showcases the simplicity of the concept. White flowers complement the scheme, eliminating the need for additional colors. The gold accents serve as the perfect metallic touch.
The result? Effortless and timeless elegance.
Aside from that, you’ll find this table to have plenty of nods to simplicity in the most beautiful of forms.
From the classic Pickard plates, to the elegant gold-rimmed glassware, and onto the beautifully simple gold tableware, you have one stunning show.
Pieces I thought paired well with the beauty of this table include my simple silver salt and pepper shakers, crystal candlestick holders, and silver tumblers throughout.
To finish her off, I decorated the table with my favorite Winter Floral Centerpiece. You can read more about how to recreate your own here.
