Rose’ Punch

Rose' Punch Cocktail

Rose’ Punch Cocktail

Rose’ wine is one of my favorite go-to wines during the hot summer months. Its pink color and lighter notes are a welcomed change from the red wines that usually fill my glass the rest of the year. The Rose’ Punch Cocktail is one of my favorite drink choices for a summer party.

I find when it comes to summer entertaining, I want things to be easy. A make-ahead punch cocktail makes serving cocktails a breeze and frees you from being a bartender. It’s also perfect to serve to a large crowd. I found this recipe last year from Design Love Fest (@DesignLovefest) and chose it to be one of the signature drinks I served at a Kendra Scott Jewelry new product launch event.

Lately, I’ve been thinking of fun cocktails for a tropical-inspired staycation and this punch was one that quickly came to mind. If you want to create your own tropical staycation click these highlighted words to see my tropical inspired table, my family’s recipe for shrimp ceviche, and another refreshing cocktail fittingly called The Royal Treatment.

Adding edible flowers adds a colorful touch

This mixture of Rose’ wine, grapefruit juice, and lime juice creates a delicious punch. Garnished with slices of grapefruit, lemon, lime, and thinly sliced strawberries it gave a nod to my tropical theme. In the past, this Rose’ Punch was given a feminine presentation by adding edible flowers to the other citrus garnishes. It was a hit presented this way at my Kendra Scott event and we quickly ran out of two batches!

This cocktail would also be perfect at a baby shower, bridal shower, or ladies’ luncheon too. Adding edible flowers for the garnish adds such a great touch of color and adds a feminine presentation as you can see in the photo below.

Highlight the Citrus for a Summery and Tropical Feel

I’ve made this punch several times and listing the quantities of the ingredients in the manner below, has personally helped me to adjust the servings a little more easily than what I found in the original recipe. I hope you find this list helpful too.

Don’t miss my helpful tips listed below the ingredient list!

Recipe from @designlovefest with a few changes from Ivory and Noire

Rose’ Punch Ingredient List

8 cups of Rose’

3 oz.  lemon juice

1 cup grapefruit juice

2 cups of lemonade

2 cups grapefruit sparkling water*

Simple syrup to taste(optional)

Slices of lime, lemons, & pink grapefruit to garnish.

Edible flowers for garnish(optional)

Strawberries (optional)

Ivory and Noire Helpful tips:

Directions to make it ahead: Make a batch of this punch mixing all the liquid ingredients minus the sparkling grapefruit water and chill in the refrigerator before your party.

**When you are ready to serve start by adding just one cup of grapefruit sparkling water and continue to add up to two cups till you get the taste to your satisfaction. Garnish by adding lemon, grapefruit, and lime slices, plus the edible flowers.

Tropical Presentation: The original recipe calls for not only the slices of citrus fruit but also edible flowers omit those and instead substitute them with a few thin slices of strawberries.

Helpful tips: If you are planning to make this right before the party, make a 1/2 to 1/3 extra punch to make ice cubes or an ice ring this will cool the punch and helps it not to get too diluted.

To save time on the day of the party, prepare your garnishes ahead of time by cutting them, storing them in zip-lock bags, and chilling them in the refrigerator.
